Immortal

The title might seem just a tad bit overzealous considering that I'm not legally considered an adult yet but I mean something different as always. Applications Of Woe As of late, I've been running around trying to apply to colleges with my father. It's entrance exam after entrance exam and it's exhausting, to say the least. For one, you don't really realise how convoluted and borderline pointless the bureaucracy behind college admissions is. There's the whole matter of applying to a college and needing a dozen certificates to prove that you were born, that you were born somewhere, that you were born into a certain religion and into a certain community.  So you think well I'll just get these certificates, submit them and then I'll be done. Oh, my sweet summer child, you have no idea. If it's a certificate issued by a private authority or organisation usually it depends on you and if you play your cards right, things will be done quickly. If it's

Too Engrossed to notice

I'm an avid player of videogames(I detest the word gamer because mainstream media has effectively ruined it for me now) and I've played a significant number of games over the years. With genres varying from Real Time Strategy to Racing, I'd like to think that I've tried a little of it all. Recently a pretty significant uproar was created over yet another development in the United States and a t this point I think most people wouldn't bat an eyelash if the US were to fly off into space one day.  Back to the issue at hand, one of America's landmark rulings, that of Roe v Wade has been overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States(which I'll refer to using SCOTUS, going forward). It has created much dissent and discussion alike regarding where things are headed for the US and its citizens and to some extent I feel has some importance to the rest of the world as well. To understand why exactly the overturning of Roe V Wade caused such an intense response we have to understand what it is and exactly what it protects(or well used to protect I suppose). Jane Roe  To begin with, Roe v Wade is a pivotal legal case in US history regarding the legality of abortions. It was brought by Norma McCorvey who used Jane Roe(a variation of Jane Doe) as a pseudonym to argu
