Introduction to my world

Good day! (or evening depending on when you're reading this).

You have found yourself in my blog, where I put down my thoughts about literally anything (hence the name of my blog,more on that later). Now, no matter how you found this infinitely small corner of the internet, I'm glad you're here, if only for a moment.

My name is Abraham Aji Varghese and as of the time that I'm typing this post 16 years old and studying in the 11th grade. My folks call me Aby and hence I'm predisposed to encourage everyone I meet to do the same. I'm your average 11th grader for the most part, I study (barely), play videogames and the whole nine yards. I'm more on the introverted side of the spectrum and I'm utterly terrible at socializing. I love reading,writing,cooking,playing videogames and watching anime (don't worry the bulk of my free time is spent on the last two).

Now that we have some semblance of an introduction in place, let me tell you, the reader about this blog. I created this blog to put out my opinion about... practically everything. This is because I tend to shift topics from one thing to another in a moment's notice and that's something that my friends had to deal with for all these years(Sorry guys -_-) and I feel like this blog might be an area where I don't make people go insane with that. Maybe in the future this blog will present some sort of opportunity for me to relive my younger days or the more likely event that I will cringe so hard that I might collapse and have a seizure... either way I hope it provides some entertainment for you, the reader who bothered to keep on reading.

Here's to hoping that I'll make this blog last at least a month!

I was in one of those pensive moods again today, thinking about all sorts of things, when I thought about what I was doing right then. I was thinking. It seems like I'm stating the obvious when I say that but one would be surprised to know the number of times we subconsciously do things. Friends and expectations

  I'm going to give it to you straight, I just ended a friendship with a friend who I was friends with for the past few years. So I am a bit bitter and angry at myself for not managing to keep it alive and that may come across in my writing. Now just for the sake of this post let's call this individual LT. LT is a slightly older friend of mine who I met playing Minecraft a while back, we bonded over certain common interests and we gradually went on to talk more and more. It was a great friendship strictly speaking, we were two intellectuals conversing about a variety of topics, his views were purely logical and often a fresh perspective to me. Living in harmony with fear

In today's media being fearless is a trait that is often worshipped. Choices that are made that go against the grain is considered fearless as the decision-maker doesn't care about the consequences of that particular choice. Songs, poems and even blog posts like the one you're reading. glorify being fearless, and with good reason. A person who fears the consequences of his decisions will never make a decision at all, which certainly isn't better than making a bad decision. So clearly fearless people are wont to be the most successful of all; are they not? Well not always. I'd say a successful person can be fearless on command. Perpetually being fearless will cause you to make rash decisions soon, which will end up causing problems for you, ergo making you unsuccessful.
