It's been a year!

 Well first of all this begins with a mistake on my end as always, technically this blog had its first post on the 16th of November 2020 but hey, I'm close enough.

One year is kind of... anti climatic when you think of it as "one year" but when you shift your perspective to 365 days, it becomes a lot more impressive all of a sudden.

I first began this blog without much direction at all of what I wanted to write about and more to the point I didn't know if I'd be able to put in consistent effort at least to the least degree possible and somehow I've done it!

Over these days I've started to enjoy writing a great deal more than I ever expected to. I find it extremely refreshing to just sit and type and muse for hours on end. The best bit is listening to people's opinion on it. When they respond positively, its a great sensation and when negative it sucks but I usually understand it has its root at constructive criticism.

I'd say much more about how I appreciate everything and how I'm more mature and so on and so forth, but truth be told, I was never one for anniversary celebrations and things of the like. 

I will say that I deeply appreciate everyone who took even a moment to read whatever asinine nonsense I was writing about that week.  I hope to get better at this and maybe someday a lot more of you will read my work.

Friends and expectations

  I'm going to give it to you straight, I just ended a friendship with a friend who I was friends with for the past few years. So I am a bit bitter and angry at myself for not managing to keep it alive and that may come across in my writing. Now just for the sake of this post let's call this individual LT. LT is a slightly older friend of mine who I met playing Minecraft a while back, we bonded over certain common interests and we gradually went on to talk more and more. Living in harmony with fear

In today's media being fearless is a trait that is often worshipped. Choices that are made that go against the grain is considered fearless as the decision-maker doesn't care about the consequences of that particular choice. Songs, poems and even blog posts like the one you're reading. glorify being fearless, and with good reason. A person who fears the consequences of his decisions will never make a decision at all, which certainly isn't better than making a bad decision. So clearly fearless people are wont to be the most successful of all; are they not? Well not always. I'd say a successful person can be fearless on command. Perpetually being fearless will cause you to make rash decisions soon, which will end up causing problems for you, ergo making you unsuccessful.
