Another Poem

The previous poem worked out far better than I could have expected and I'm grateful for all the praise and criticism I got for it. I figured that I'd give another shot at writing a poem.

For a moment

Far,far away a boy lies on meadow

With fragrances many

Of fresh citrus and grass

He breathes in the fresh air

Cool and sweet

For a moment forgetting

The Struggle Of Life

Far far away, a mother works tirelessly

Aching all over

Held up by crutch of love

Ailed treating the healthy

Her love knows no bounds

For a moment forgetting

The Solace Of Life

Far far away, a brother

Looks Homeward

Pining for sights familiar

Caring not for the spectacular

Nor the life in city

For a moment forgetting

The Charm of Life

Far far away a father longs

For child taken away

With no hope of return

He sheds many tears

Unseen by others

For a moment forgetting

The Joy of life

Far far away an infant full of innocence

Smiles and laughs at all

Looking in wonder

All about herself

Curiosity abounding within

Her little eyes shine

For a moment discovering

Life as it is.
